The holocaust was such a dark time for our history. Hitler is a very famous dictator for killing thousands of Jews during world was 2. There were death camps and ghettoes all through out Germany. Hitler made it him goal in life to kill of all of the Jews by torture and murder.

On the eve of Passover, just after daybreak on 20 July 1942, a German police patrol entered the Warsaw Ghetto to begin rounding up the ghettos remaining 62,000 Jewish inhabitants for deportation to concentration and death camps. As the patrol proceeded down Mila Street a volley of shots rang out, killing the patrol's commander and wounding several policemen. The police retreated in confusion as the attackers, the young men and women of the Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB), ran to collect the weapons of the fallen Germans. For the next 29 days the ZOB and its allies fought Nazi forces in the first urban uprising of World War II. The outnumbered and poorly armed insurgents were finally overwhelmed, but their actions became an example of heroism in the face of unspeakable evil. Many of the Jewish fighters, including most of the leaders of the ZOB, died at their posts rather than surrender. In the end Jewish losses were 6,000 combat dead along with 55 fighters from the Polish Home Army. Although the Germans officially listed only about 100 casualties, contemporary Polish sources reported German losses at 1,300 dead and wounded.

The plan was for Ludwig Beck, Erwin von Witzleben and Friedrich Fromm to take control of the German Army. This idea was abandoned when it became known that Adolf Hitler had survived the assassination attempt. In an attempt to protect himself , from organized the execution of Claus von Stauffenberg along with two other conspirators, Friedrich Olbricht and Werner von Haeften, in the courtyard of the War Ministry. It was later reported the Stauffenberg died shouting, "Long live holy Germany

As a result of the July Plot, the new chief of staff, Heinz Guderian demanded the resignation of any officer who did not fully support the ideals of the Nazi Party. Over the next few months Guderian sat with Gerd von Rundstedt and Wilhelm Keitel on the Army Court of Honor that expelled hundreds of officers suspected of being opposed to the policies of Adolf Hitler. This removed them from court martial jurisdiction and turned them over to Roland Freisler and his People's Court.

In July 20, 1944 there was the exempted assassination in Adolf Hitler’s headquarters. Hitler did not die, Believing that God had spared him to avenge Germany on the world, he met with Mussolin later that day. Adolf Hitler only suffered a few wounds to is right arm and a loss of hearing. At the end of 1943 the Schutz Staffeinel (ss) and the Gestapo managed to arrest several Germans involved in plotting to overthrow Adolf Hitler. Meanwhile as Hitler met with Mussolini Stauffenberg was shot at midnight by a firing squad and killed.

Claus Von Stauffenberg was remembered as one of the tragic heroes of World War 2. Von Stauffenberg was a German army officer during the war but grew disillusioned with the Nazis. Eventually he joined a plot to kill Adolf Hitler. Von Stauffenberg planted a briefcase bomb during a staff meeting with Hitler on 20 July 1944. The bomb went off as planned not killing Hitler.Von Stauffenberg escaped the blast and flew to berlin, where he and other had hoped to lead a coup. Instead he was captured the same day and executed early the next morning.

Adolph Trail began on April 11, 1965. Eichnmann was one of Nazi Germany's most notorious war criminals, which was personally responsible for the killing of millions of Jews. During Adolf Eichnmann’s trail he was accused on 15 counts.

Many witnesses were called to the stand to give their side of what went on during their time in the camps. One of the many men brave men that went up to take the stand was Noah Zabludowicz. Noah was witness to the torture and beatings for carrying false German identification papers. This is Noah’s testimony

“5/1/61: ZABLUDOWICZ: There was a semi-circular chair there and it had openings. They told me to lie down on my stomach on the chair, with my head going through on the other side. One of them came up, took my head between his legs, while another one stood on my legs. I was on my knees, and my legs were being held. Two of them took out whips with lead tips and started beating. I couldn\\\'t shout because I was choking. I felt moisture all over my body. I couldn\\\'t count the blows I received. I had already lost count. I began to work myself loose with all my strength; I made a tremendous effort, and I knocked over the two who were holding me, together with the chair, and the chair was smashed to pieces, and they fell down. Then they said \\\"Der Hund hat uns den Stuhl kaputt gemacht\\\" (The dog has broken the chair for us), and they seized the legs, they were round legs made of hard wood, we used to call it \\\"redwood\\\" oak, and they began to beat me on my head with these legs until there were no more pieces of wood left. I fell down and fainted, and then they poured over me a bucket of water that had been standing in the room. I regained consciousness somewhat. The room was full of blood. It was one o\\\'clock. At one o\\\'clock they looked at their watches and said: \\\"Wir mussen Mittag essen gehen\\\" (We have to go for lunch). There was a man there walking around, his name was Bresler, he used to wander around the streets of the town, and they told him to watch me until they returned.

ZABLUDOWICZ: Yes... [I] Begged him: \\\"Icht bitte Ihnen, schiessen Sie mich!\\\" (I beg you to shoot me). He answered me: \\\"Du Hund, es ist schade fur eine Patrone. Du wirst so krepeieren muessen\\\" (You dog, it would be a pity to waste a bullet on you - you will have to die this way), and he kicked me in the mouth with his foot and I spat out all my teeth.”(PBS Online)

As you can see this time in our history was a hard time for many Jews and Germanys as will. But in the end of it all most Jews got justice when Adolf Enrichmanns was hanged and trailed. Or Claus Von Stauffenberg died serving the country and trying to over come Hitler in his assassination attempt. Last all the ghettoes were closed and Jews sent free after here rebellion. Everyone at the end of world was 2 got peace, rather it was you or a family member everyone is some how remembered for what they did.
